EDIT: I've adjusted my deal,
to maybe make it more appealing to donators!
Sending this out again to maybe get some interest
I really want to start making these soaps!
This journal is specifically for my fellow
City of Heroes/Villains orphans!
(Although any deviant who likes my soaps
and would like to help out are welcome to!)
I'm looking to start selling soaps
with the CoX Archetypes symbols on them,
but I need help.
My husband is designing the mold stamps for me.
Since I'm going to need a total of 12 molds,
we figured out the price of ordering them all at once,
which with shipping comes to exactly $100.
So, my new deal is this:
Donators can donate ANY AMOUNT THEY WANT,
but I've decided to sell them at $5 w/shipping included,
any donation of $5 will get you a free bar of soap,
and I will make it one bar for every increment of $5!
We'll leave the donation open until I have the $100,
then I will order all the molds and start making them for the donators first,
then start taking orders!
Donations can be made via PayPal to my account
Those who are donating enough to get soaps,
leave me a note in the payment to let me know what kind of soap you want!
(I'm not even limiting this offer to just the CoX soaps...
you can order any kind of soap I make, at the special price of $5)
I've put together a couple of examples
to give you an idea of what the soaps will be like,
even though I don't have an actual example of the soaps yet.
Here are the display mock-ups of the Scrapper and Defender molds
Here is an example to get an idea of the size of the soaps
(that's one of my hubby's phone cases,
a 5oz round soap made with the round mold I will be using,
and my business card, which is just regular, business card sized)
and here is what the scrapper symbol will look like facing the right way
(also one of hubby's phone cases)
and how the symbol be raised, like the leaf on this soap
I didn't want to set up a patreon or fund me kind of thing,
mostly because I don't really know how they work,
and I figured this would be the easiest way to get the mold stamps.
If you are interested in helping me out, drop me a note or comment here,
and I will let you know how to send the payment.
I'll be taking the payments through PayPal, since hubby won't actually be
listing the mold stamps for sale on his shop.
I appreciate any and all help I get with this project!!
By the way, you can also order phone cases from my hubby
via his shop, he also makes mugs, keychains/zipper pulls, lots of stuff! Shiggles 3D Printing
