8lbs 11oz and 21" long!
They had to do an emergency C-section, and he was born at 10:37pm.
Mommy and baby both had a fever, but are both on antibiotics and doing fine.

Her contractions are coming really close now,

then in the morning start her on the stuff to induce labor...
well, the dilating stuff didn't work, so they sent her back home this morning.
She's still having contractions, though, so he will probably come
today or tomorrow (I predicted Labor Day!

so she called and they told her to come in,
they hooked her up to monitors and baby is fine
but they are keeping her because she's starting to dilate!

So, do I still have any followers over here? 😄 I haven't checked in in forever, and I seriously just today realized there's a dA app for my phone! 🤦 This will admittedly make it easier for me to remember to check in here more often. But I come here tonight to ask a favor, to any of my friendly followers who might live in or plan on visiting the UNITED KINGDOM?? See, I have a dear friend who is a mom to 3 little boys, each of them are on different levels of the Autism Spectrum, and her littlest, he's about 4 I believe, he is OBSESSED with letters! And SO SMART! He found, all by himself, online from a YouTube video, a specific letter puzzle that is only available in the UK. They don't even ship overseas. She's got him numerous other letter puzzles, but none of them are That Puzzle. Now, what she is hoping is that someone over there can order it, have it delivered to them, and then ship it to her here in Michigan, USA. She would pay for all this, of course. I really appreciate any help anyone could or would be willing to give. My friend has been through A LOT , especially this past year. She lost her house and most of their belongings in a fire, and she, her new husband, 3 little boys and her increasingly negative aging mother have been living in a camper trailer. Her ex (the boys' father) is no help to her, and her own stress and PTSD takes a lot out of her. The only things she ever asks for are for her boys, even putting her own health to the back burner.
